II know many english football fans and followers would have called for my head when i wrote the article below:ENGLISH 3 LIONS SUCKS on the 27/10/07 '' am always amazed when the english fans fight whenever they dont do well in any competition, i have watched with keen interested and actually believe that the english national team should be one of the best in the world , with all the resources available for them, but the english team cannot stand side by side with any of the major national teams in africa, but their journalist created an impression of a great team when in reality the english team SUCKS.They will not be going to euro2008 and i wonder what they will do even if they qualify get to the quarter final and crash. in my own opinion the english national team is a big joke'' But the events of the past weeks as shown that i was very write ,it is no longer news that the 3 lions will not be in euro 2008 quoting from the associated press below ''England's so-called golden generation sat dejected on the muddy field of Wembley Stadium, trying to drown out the celebratory cheers of Croatian fans. THE ASSOCIATED PRESS The news now is the appointment of FABIO CAPELLO as the new manager of the english team looking at the appointment, i will want to agree that it is a step in the right direction, i will pray that he succeed. But will he be able to curb the ridiculous ego of the english football players, will he be able to control the false sense of believe created by the english press for their player? all is left to be seen i really do hope he can qualify the team for the 2010 world cup not with the unfavourable draw they will have to contend with.

Capello i welcome you to england, but will sincerely hope that you can bring this players down to earth so that they know that they are not the best in the world or has any english player won the footballer of the year award? i don't think so so what ia the fuss about english soccer team? oh i know it is the BECKHAMS image. all the best to a world class coach with pedigree
